Penfolds - St Henri Shiraz (1999)
St Henri is my benchmark for wines, many thanks to Andrew who first gave me a bottle of the 1997 vintage. The 1999 while not as good as the ‘97 is a damn fine wine, it is essential that this drop be given sufficient time to open up, else it does not taste as good, you cannot hurry it.
Highly recommened.
