Saffron Butter Prawns

Cooking Time: 25 mins
Serves 4 or more!!!!!

5g Saffron threads
½ tsp salt
6 cloves garlic, pealed
1kg medium green prawns
125g cultured butter
2 red Serrano chillies, sliced (optional)

BUTTER RICE
30g cultured butter
1 onion
1cup long grain rice (basmati)
1cup chicken stock

This is a French wine. Other than its name I know very little.
While most certainly it was pleasent, I would not consider this drop to be spectacular. No idea which variety it is, but at a guess I’d be leaning toward either a Pinot or Merlot, perhaps even a blend of the two.
