For I have received SMS spam marketing (number used: 042967374)from them today – and am forced to make conclusions like the following.

If they market via SMS spam, then I’m inclined to believe their sales staff to be shifty, dodgy and only out to make a sale. To resort to tactics like SMS spam their service department must be useless and incapable of servicing a kingswood.

Looks like the USA needs some BluTec Diesels to be released (BluTec is Mercedes’s name for a system that cleans the exhaust of their Diesel engines to reduce emissions to comparable levels as normal petrol based engines.) – the figures listed are abysmal for the top 5. My VW Golf 2.0TDI rockets up to #3 based on its official figures (6.1L/100km)  and #2 based on my observed consumption (5.5L/100km) then again I know of no prius owner who gets 48mpg (us gallons) on the highway.

A very handy guide for people looking to purchase a car. While very US centric, many useful hints that will apply across the board. I suggest that you have a read. Use it as the basis and start of the most important part of purchasing a car… research, research, RESEARCH!

Damn tree hugging hippies! I am torn between my love of cars and my dislike or left wing radicals that the hippy movement seems to be so filled with. If you have not visited my site before, you may not know that I drive a VW 2.0 Turbo Diesel Golf, a car that is both fugal, comfortable and has a pleasing level of performance offered.

I like the up and coming shift toward diesel. I think in some respect I like the new tech diesel better than hybrids!

While the title supercar may in todays light be a little inflated, this is still one sweet sweet ride!

Buy me one!!

Whats not to love about Diesel? Talk about big, quick and well, if the earth ever stops spinning, we now have a choice between the Bently Continental GT, Bugatti Veyron and now the Audi Q7 to get it restarted!

Quite respectable times and it stops like little else seen before. Of course its doubtful that it would be made as a production car as seen here, but what is  shown is an awesome potential!

While focused on the US market this has some very useful tips and is a decent guide for anyone looking at purchasing a new car.

I’d also consider adapting this guide to anyone looking at the second hand market…

The major focus is the Mobile Section – mainly as I am about to get a HP IPAQ hw6965 and there does not seem to be much information about them.

The power of Diesel coming to a decently speedy and rediculously efficient car. 157mpg is just insane! Makes my 50mpg out of Sooty seem somewhat pathetic.
