This is a rather tasty Cab Barbera, which is much nicer the second night out. (Used a vacuum seal jobbie, and left it on the bench avg temps approx 10C). It manages to balance, wood tannins and fruit, with the sulphery flavours all but non existant. Goes well with spicy foods, or rich meaty foods!…

This Cabernet Sauvignon is a passable Cab Sav at present. It does however require several more years in the Cellar to transform itself into a decent drop. I’d reccomend this one with something strong and saucy – french, or italian! M

Two bottles not even worth mentioning in an individual post, so they get one. Watery Sulphury Drain Cleaner Penfolds – Thomas Hyland – Cabernet Suvignon (2003) Yalumba – “vintage” Shiraz (2004) Don’t bother – nuff said!
