Seppelt – Fleur de Lys (2002) (Chardonnay Pinot Noir)

This method de champagne is actually rather tasty, exploding on the pallate with an immense infusion of bubble trailing off to a bitey almost astringent aftertaste. The flavours of pinot and chardonnay blending nicely together. It is a rather refreshing summer drink. MUST BE SERVED COLD! It is neither sweet, fruity or bitter, nor is it too dry. Don’t just ignore this bubbly, have a go and get into it.
