Starting the update of the wines consumed over the last 10 weeks or so – we have a port, now this one was not finished in a few nights, but rather over a few weeks.
This is an extremely pleasant port, it’s only aged 12 years – so its no oldie in the age stakes, but it is very nice. It does down smooth and is what a typical port should be – something to enjoy a tipple of, at the end of the day after the meal has been eaten and the dishes done. At the $20 that they are asking at the cellar door it’s an absolute bargain, and would be just as good at twice the price.
