Journo fired over rigged Mercedes brake tech test | The Register
Looks like the new S classes auto braking feature is not as poorly implemented as first reported – Merc. engineers were coerced into faking a test that they knew was not possible (radar does not work in steel warehouses – i wonder why they would not design it to work in an environment like that?!?!) apparantly the suspension is very good, the brake now indicator (a piece of wood on the ground) was not felt by one of the drivers.
