This is a well nice drop of Shiraz, it has sufficient fruit and spice that make it rather appealing. Not very much in the way of a sulphery after taste.
It needed quite a bit of time to open up (approx 3 hours) and keeps on getting better the more time it is given. Made from 109 year old vines it is rather interesting in flavour. For some strange reason I think I prefer the older wines to the younger ones and this is while not an old wine a wine in an old style, from old grapes, and I like.
