Hugh Hamilton – “The Odd Ball” Saperavi – 2005
This Red is beyond a red in colour, it is almost black in the glass with flourescent purple minicus where the wine meets the glass. And its flavour – not like anything you’ve had before. It has the body of a Cab, the fruit of fruit and the spice of a Shiraz, but tastes nothing like the individual wines nor a blended wine.
This is on unique wine that I recommend, good for drinking with friends and spices from things like a salami served with an antipasto platter do not overpower this drop! 😀 Go for it!
