Solaris 10 x86 – Adding NIC Drivers (e1000g in this case)

On the Sun forums is this article where several people have had issues enabling Intel e1000g drivers for the NIC’s.

The basic process used is :

determine the? device ID with “prtconf -D”

add the entry into driver_aliases

create the devfs entries with devfsadm
