you have been prevented from viewing this post by the security exclusion zone…
Today I am bloody well ashamed to be an Australian. We are a nation of laid back slackers, with a motto of she’ll be right mate, emphasis on the word mate. Yet we have blocked off a three mile square chunk of Sydney and charged 11 people with various offences due to “The Chasers” breach of the exclusion zone.
Seriously, when did we give up everything in the name of security, its pathetic! What next – DNA testing and banning from medicare for those genetically disposed to expensive problems? Extradition to gaol for not being patriotic?, or more poignantly for notbeing patriotic to the US cause. I’m more than happy for a foreign dignatry to supply their own security forces, so long as it fits in with what goes on around them. Likewise I’m equally ashamed to be associated with the demonstrators who cannot even unite under a single banner and have many different agenda’s to push.
People wake up! Smell the bloody roses and do something about it.
